When the company I co-founded was acquired in 2014 I took the opportunity to "retire." These are the scribblings of a man who has been lucky at birth, lucky in love, and lucky in business. Professionally I have been:  a high school teacher (physics, government, economics, math) and administrator; a direct marketer for a national cataloger; an entrepreneur and business leader (online marketing); and now an investor/adviser and community volunteer.  Throughout, I've enjoyed writing, so I thought I'd start a blog as a way to keep my brain working between tennis matches.
